Truth be told; I don't know. I'm willing to bet that everyone goes through the exact same set of challenges in their lives as everyone else. They may be mixed up, the circumstances may be different, but ultimately we all end up feeling the exact same way at some point in our lives. How we get to those feelings doesn't matter, because after we have them we are changed. People experience emotional challenges differently. Some people are calm and steady, others are reactive and controlled by their feelings. As for how people meet... Good question. I'm of the opinion you meet people for specific reasons. Things happen and progress depending on circumstance, happenstance, coincidence, chance, and choice. Karma. If you live well, live with compassion, live with understanding and humility then you're inner light shines and attracts people of like mindedness. If instead, you live with a different set of perceptions then you'll tend to attract people who's energy matches those ideals instead. I suppose we all have needs and desires which will eventually override our personal choice, but if something is very important to us, then our will can overcome it. Everyone has challenges. I challenge myself physically to overcome my raging emotions. Others challenge themselves mentally to overcome physical hardships. Some people rely on spiritual dedication to understand a world too cruel and complicated. Lots of people float in the middle with a little of everything. People are people. The good, the bad, and the ugly. We're all in this together, so my opinion is if you carry yourself in a strong manner... if you help others, if you share your wealth and emotions and do it without needing anything back... if you do these things, then the universe is able to create a wave of good energy that travels around, picking up goodness as it goes until it returns. Bad things happen too in the same way. It all comes back around. I guess in the end it'll all not matter because we'll die, but until then it's a life sentence of suffering and hardship. We should at least try and get along... and find happiness everywhere we can ;p Just keep your eyes open and you'll see who you're looking for. There isn't any other way!

A rule I live by incidentally; You judge me harshly for not knowing me at all. Just because you've seen the world doesn't mean you've seen or know me. Judas also thought he knew better. Let he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone. (John 8 v. 7)... Are you without sin Chiara? You may consider yourself clear, but just for your namesake; it doesn't make it so. You're alive and I'm alive. Don't besmirch my lifestyle with disrespect and I won't do the same to you. Have a little pride in yourself and don't be so petty. Talking down to others as you did to me is vanity. That is a sin. You're no better or worse than me. Also if you think getting dunked in water is what gives you a soul then... I'm glad that gives you validation.
