Now you can take your participation in the eHarmony Advice community to a whole new level. Our newest feature, My Friends, allows you to connect with other users directly and create stronger personal connections.

You can even use our Friend Search feature to look for friends who share your traits and interests. Want to reach out to people in your city or state? Search for it! Want to discover friends who like biking or reggae bands? Search for it! In no time you’ll have a collection of individuals who share your interests to help you with your eHarmony journey.

Here are some of the additional benefits you’ll discover with this new My Friends feature.

• Sending private messages to your friends

• Manage your friends…sorting by date added, last login, or alpha

• See all the activity your friends create on eHarmony Advice

Do you consistently like what someone has to say? Are you finding that one person’s dating experiences are remarkably similar to your own? Interested in sending that person a private message? Now you can. Simply add them to your circle of friends by clicking the “add to my friends” link under their profile image. That person will instantly get a friend request with a standardized message from eHarmony Advice.

Once someone accepts your friend request, you will automatically see a list of his/her most recent comments on articles or in the message boards. You will also be able to send private messages directly to their eHarmony Advice inbox. Remember any information you choose to reveal to another eHarmony Advice user is done at your own discretion. Please be respectful to other members and always abide by our terms and conditions of service.

You must be a member of the eHarmony Advice site to add and correspond with your “friends.” Signing up is easy and free. Simply create a screen name, enter your e-mail and secure it with a password and you are halfway there! Once logged in, you’ll be able to create a personalized profile, entering as little or as much detail as you wish. Then you can upload photographs, connect people to your profile using My Friends and begin sending and receiving messages. Making new friends and building your online support network is now simple.

As a member of the eHarmony Advice community, you’ll see that your opinion really does matter - someone really is listening. Other members are interested in what you have to say so we encourage you to weigh in as much as possible. Your words of advice will help others in need, and whenever you have a question, they’ll be there for you, too! That’s what friends are for on eHarmony Advice.
