by eHarmony Staff
One of the most common requests we receive at eHarmony is for a way to use our scientific approach to compare people who aren't on the service. Many people want to compare their personalities to those of people around them - a boyfriend, co-workers, friends, bosses, a girlfriend, even a spouse. To answer those requests, we've created the FREE Mini Personality Profile. In less than five minutes, you can:
- Get a read on your personality based on five key attributes.
- Compare yourself to the U.S. male and female averages.
- Link your results to a social network profile (e.g., Facebook, MySpace, Friendster) and compare your results with those of your friends and family.
Best of all, the eHarmony Mini Personality Profile is absolutely free to copy and send to friends. Click on the green button below to start. (Note: You will need
Flash 7 or greater installed to be able to view.)

Nope. I'm an off-the-scale introvert on MBTI and this instrument rated me as outgoing. It also said I'd rather have fun than accomplish things, but that's just my uber-P temperament - I'm never done thinking about things so it's difficult to bring closure (eg, deadlines are flexible to me). That doesn't mean I'm blowing things off and having fun.
I think the reliability/validity of this "instrument" is way off.
gave ,e about the same high introversion rating as the MeyerBriggs. other statements didn't ring particularly close. Would think validity would be compromised by brevity.
The test shows me as beingextroverted. Ironically, this has been an ongoing issue for me,as I have never seen myselfas being this way, but somewhere in between. However, all my life I've been told that I am a leader.
