“I've never been married, though I was engaged once back in college ...but that ended back in 2001. I'll be completing my masters Dec. 2008. While I'd like to complete my ten years where I'm working at now (after I graduate it'll only be 2.5 years left)... for the right guy, I'd be willing to move before then.”
“I like to think of myself as mellow and friendly. I have solid priorities but respect people of all backgrounds. I've always been proud of the fact that I count among my friends conservatives, liberals, republicans, democrats. The variety can be a little challenging but also extremely rewearding. I feel very blessed!”
“A curious introvert. I've been around the world on mission trips and for work, but most weekends I prefer to sit home with my cats, a cup of coffee and a good book. I've worked as an Interpreter for the deaf in public schools, a robotics programmer, and a janitor. I absolutely hated English in school but now I write (one book of poetry finished and one fantasy novel looking for a publisher/agent.) I'm not good at creating art but I do appreciate it.”

RelyID is an identity verification service which lets your matches know that you are who you say you are. The service validates your name, address and age, though your matches can only ever see your validated first name, city of residence and age. Once validated, your profile features a RelyID badge. By seeing this badge and knowing that your identity is validated, your matches may be more inclined to initiate open and honest communication with you.
How Does it Work?
RelyID uses publicly available information to verify your ID. That said, while the information is publicly available, as a whole it is information that typically only you would know. Your information is never shared with any 3rd parties, and the whole process takes place on a secure server.
RelyID utilizes a two-part test to verify your identity. The first part requires that you input information such as your legal first and last name and your address. This is an important point because if you enter a nickname (for example Patty instead of Patricia), the test will fail you.
The second part is a multiple choice test that will ask you questions such as the state your driver’s license was issued from or the name of the bank where you have an account. Once you’ve passed, you’re good to go.
How much does it Cost?
RelyID costs $5.95. Once verified, your badge is good for up to one year.
How do I Get it?
RelyID is available to anyone that has an account with eHarmony. To purchase RelyID or to find out more information, click here.
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this group and new to Eharmony. With the people that have been posting about false matches. I'm fairly new to the online dating world and I've have been onabout5-6 online sites and they are all over the place. I've joined Eharmony and I did sign up for the RelyID. I've met them but I'm not giving up hope that I will eventually meet someone that is for real. I know that wedo EXIST out there. I've learned alot about Romance scammerswhen I did asearch on Romance Scams on the web and found a group on yahoothat provides education on how to check IP addresses, pics posted of people that they were scammed by, the whole history of it. Unfortunately by the time you join thereyou are one of the ones that have already been scammed in some way oranother - financially or emotionally.
But I am set on trying to find someone locally to me and figured I've tried every other online service - lets see how I do with Eharmony.
I do agree that I think the cost should be part of the membership fee.
Well, let's see, after I got the subscription back in February, I signed up for RelyID, too. In all that time, I've had a total of three communications out of over 200 (and those three didn't pan out at all anyway). Real useful, huh?
Piece of advice - six bucks or not, don't waste your money on this service.
Rely ID is a good thing until you move! Then you cannot change your location! I wish that I had not done it... because now all my matches are seeing the wrong location. I moved to a new state!
