Is no one going to champion the promiscuous?

I would've thought there's a lot to be said for dating someone who has had a lot of sex with different people and is looking to settle down.

In fact I'll go as far to say I'm always dumb founded by Islam promising 42 virgins in heaven. Too many to get along nicely and too few for one a week for your first year. Surely a couple of professional hookers and a cuddly one who can cook would be better? No?
I can say that virgins are no good in bed, and neither are people without some experience.

My second was a virgin. So was my first.

My first was good in bed. She seemed to have trouble standing, and everytime she fell down, she landed on some guy's pecker.

My second was good in bed, eventually. And I mean, wow, she was WHAMMO good in bed.

Eventually.

But after that first night, when we had sex for the first time, she asked her friends, "Is that all there is? Really? It wasn't that great."

"It'll get better," they said.

It did, of course, but it took a LOT of practice. I mean, a LOT. As in, no shayt, she flunked out, and I got scholastic probation.

Practice practice practice. Makes purrrr fect.

This reminds me of Robin Williams "Live on Broadway" when he was discussing the 72 virgins thing and he said "'Where are my 72 virgins!?' Those of you who have been with one virgin are saying 'Well, I don't know...'"

Argument A) Women have more at stake for both valuing virginity and the social constructs created by this value. Women in society are taught, usually by their mothers, that virginity is important and that they should be very careful not to give it to the wrong guy. ...

and the reason why mothers tell their daughters that is because there are only deragatory terms for promiscious women, and not men. who made up those rules, do you think?

to this day it is up to the woman to say NO, because clearly men are animals that cannot control themselves. [/sarcasm]

So since women value virginity more than men we are concerned that her feelings over losing it will make it a big deal, it's not that guys believe the sex is so amazing she's going to lose her mind. That's like saying a Hindu would have an emotional reaction to eating beef because Christians make amazing hamburgers.

women value their virginity because society values it. that's really the only reason- once society stops having double standards WRT female sexuality noone but the religious people will care.

It's not a place for you Trixie....there's also drink there that never makes you drunk. Now where's the point in that? Every religion has its interesting aspects to say the least....I know, I've studied them....BTW people who were married in life meet up with their spouses in the beyond and don't get this sweet deal....and you know I am going to remember the last argument I had with my hypothetical EH matched husband because I don't like to let things go and I really like to be right but that is a story for another thread I think

What does that mean, anyway? Since when did "fail" become an adjective?
