I think my biggest fears are 1. I say something early on that makes me seem like a fool or needy. 2. I try to push the envelope too quickly therefore freaking her out. 3. Trying to rush her and/or thinking she isnt really interested or something since she wasnt available to talk in other words always thinking somethings wrong.
As being needy yes, that can chase women away even when you didn't mean to. Pushing the envelope will definitely freak her out and you know better than to do.

Other than that if she's into you, unless you mess up real bad, ya can't really do that much wrong.

First, you need to relax. You have never met this woman. No amount of chatting online or on the telephone will tell you if you share chemistry or common values. Don't worry about "messing this one up" worry about if you have met an individual with whom you are compatible.

That being said, if she has spent 5 hours chatting with you and does not want to meet you, then I would say that there is something amiss and you should move on.

good luck

Why is it bad to let someone know you like them if you do ... Why feel foolish about it?

Telling somebody that you like them...not foolish at all, but the OP might feel unsure and if she ended up not feeling the same way, that's when the feeling of foolishness comes in.

The problem here has been alluded to. You have built a fantasy relationship with someone that you have never met.

And she's done the same thing ... which could be why you feel so insecure about meeting: your fears seem to be "when she finds out who I actually am she won't like me".

Since it's happened, take a deep breath, let it go, and set up a meeting. Keep an open mind. Good luck!

I was just thinking something similar to this. While I don't like women who are crazy clingy.....there are women that I'd love to see show that they like me or are even infatuated with me soon after meeting. For me it really boils down to whether I'm interested in them. As long as I'm interested and attracted to a woman I'd enjoy seeing her show that she likes me.
