You can't fool me, PY. You like it 'cause she can't walk straight and she bumps you ... and that means her rack hits your arm.

We know these things. We just let it happen anyway.

Don't spill my secrets please. These newbies don't know any better!

I love to hold a woman's hand in public. I believe it makes her feel wanted and protected. I also like the closeness.

Maybe this is silly, but do you like or dislike holding hands with your date when walking out in public? Does it matter at all to you? My guy puts his hands in pocket all the time. I don't really like it because it feels weird if I am not holding hands, like walking with a friend so then I hold on to his arm. Granted maybe its turned a bit chilly nowadays, but still for a short walk..
I like holding hands when the situation is appropriate like walking in the park or down the street. It would feel silly walking around the grocery store holding hands.

As for the weather being cold and needing to put my hands in my pockets. Solution, hold hands and put her's in my jacket pocket or I put mine in her jacket pocket.

I don't know, y'all. It depends.

First, is your date into PDA's at all? Some people find any kind of PDA uncomfortable.

I had a first date in my teensy hometown where everybody knows everybody. The guy grabbed my hand as we were walking down the 2-block main street. I really wasn't all that crazy about him to start with and this just felt plain awkward to me. I like to jesture and "talk with my hands," so it was easy to pull my hand back without a lot of wierdness. Still, I thought he was assuming a lot. The situation just wasn't right.

Thanks for your inputs! On our evening out yesterday he took my hand saying the leather jacket was cold. lol. I think will let him know my preference and maybe hold back a bit until he feels more comfortable with showing affection.

I love holding hands. If my guy has his hands in his pockets I will grab his arm and usually thats the hint. If he didn't even want to hold hands, I would have to say something I think.

I guess I am a hand holder also....I love feeling her hand in mine, and it helps guide her away from the shoe dept when shopping...but I do hesitate a bit if I notice that she's used a public germ ridden handrail on the escalator.

I love holding hands as well. Maybe not on the first few dates but if the relationship is established holding hands is great. It is odd, but I actually like hand holding in public (and cuddling in private) more than some ex's did.

I guess a tactile affectionate man is better off with a tactile affectionate woman.
