WittyKitty, do you like shooting yourself in the foot or what (lol)?


I have only been in one rebound and it sucked! Wife had passed away a year early and she knew exactly how to use that against me, but thats okay in the long run it ended up hurting her much worse then me.


I'm gonna start dating again in the spring and having fun, firing up the RV already (lol)!

My ex and I have each chosen polar opposites of the other (i.e., my new guy is warm, funny, cute and kind; his new GF is successful, aggressive,athletic and plain). I hear that the rebound person/victim is usually similar to the ex. Doeschosing opposites make for a possiblesuccessful relationship?

I have had a couple of employee's with complete opposites as mates and much to my surprise they couldn't have been more happy and still are, one is a complete hippy and she is my office manager and a well for the lack of a better of puttin it she's just a goodie two shoes I just cant think of the words at the moment to describe her she wouldn't even jay walk. And he well I will just leave it at that (lol)!

Hah, this old thread came back alive! Jeffs, no I don't like to shoot myself in the foot. I was taken by surprise by this guy as I had no idea what kind of effect he would have on me. I hadn't dated for such a long time when I got together with him that he came across as someone really special.


By the way, there is a follow-up to my story: I recently got together with him for a little light-hearted fun and it turned out that he indeed went back (or tried to) to the girl who dumped him because her new boyfriend had dumped her! This was probably around December. And now when I got together with J he was talking about that stupid girl again. Her only virtue is it seems that she is not interested in him (but I suspect she might have used him for sex, hah). The poor guy - I feel really sorry for him.
