This relationship started a little over a year ago.

A success story indeed as we were Thousands of miles apart. Many asked, " CAN IT WORK:? Well I can tell you that No distance will come between that of what you believe in, that what you know in your soul is good for you.....

Of course there are questions that needs to be answered, but how will you know if you do not at least give yourself the chance to answer as well as have your's that you might have answered ?

For those of you that were active on the boards a little over a year ago, you will know what I am referring to and just to refresh, have a look at the two threads in the 40 something group called :THAT SOMEONE SPECIAL and THAT SOMEONE SPECIAL HER SIDE.

Well a leap of faith it was and will stay indeed, specially for a very special Lady that took that leap to be by my side a year ago. She not only left her home, her kids, dogs and her country, but travelled thousands of miles to a country that she does not know, had no-one to talk to except me and that only on faith for what she believed in.

She had to change from football to rugby, from baseball to cricket, from barbercue to "Braai" and that FOR ME? Well I am blessed, appreciative, falling in love over and over again. She indeed is special and I knew it from the first glimpse I had of her on the boards.

Today, she is staying on a farm with me, we are engaged to be married soon and we have a big family. Four kids in America and two here. Even though worlds apart, we all stay in contact and we made it work.....

The cultural difference....well even that is a blessing, as long as there is respect, no lies and no deceit, the skies are the only limit......

Truth is, Love conquers all....You better belive it.....

Kind Greetings to all of you from Sunny South Africa.

Paz and Okkie.

See: Nickolas Ashford/Valerie Simpson, Ain't No Mountain High Enough

If you need me, call me. No matter where you are, no matter how far. Just call my name. I'll be there in a hurry. On that you can depend and never worry.

You see, my love is alive It's like a seed that only needs the thought of you to grow. So if you feel the need for company, please, my darling, let it be me. I may not be able to express the depth of the love I feel for you, but a writer put it very nicely when he was away from the one he loved. He said down and wrote these words:

No wind, (No wind) no rain, (no rain)
Nor winter's cold
Can stop me, babe (oh, babe) baby (baby)
If you're my goal

No wind, no rain,
Can stop me, babe
If you wanna go

I know, I know you must follow the sun
Wherever it leads
But remember
If you should fall short of your desires
Remember life holds for you one guarantee
You'll always have me

And if you should miss my love
One of these old days
If you should ever miss the arms
That used to hold you so close, or the lips
That used to touch you so tenderly
Just remember what I told you
The day I set you free

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough (Say it again)
Ain't no river wild enough
To keep me from you

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough (Say it again)
Ain't no river wild enough
To keep me from you

Ain't no mountain high enough
Nothing can keep me
To keep me from you

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough (One more time)
Ain't no river wild enough (Say it again)
To keep me from you

Ain't no mountain high enough
Nothing can keep me
To keep me from you

Congratulations.
