Last night I watched American Psycho. Brilliant! I loved how "Patrick", Christian Bale, would slip in phrases like 'I work in murders and executions', and "I want to murder you and play in your blood" and no one notices! Also the whole thing with the business cards. Without a doubt the best scene in the whole movie is when he's analyzing Huey Lewis and the News "Hip to be Square" right before he axes Jared Leto. Hilarious!

Miracle at St. Anna - About what I expected from Spike Lee. A good movie none the less. Wasn't actually certain of the ending till almost the very end. Worth seeing.

Atonement-wow wasn't expecting it to be so good. Very sad. Amazing how a false tale a stupid child tells could ruin the lives of two people.

The Red Violin-I almost bought a violin. Seriously. The movie follows the violin thru many generations to the present. Incredible. I even watched parts of it twice. I never do that. Loved the music too.

My son and I are big movie goers, but in recent times have had to cut back on that luxery recently. But we did manage to go see The Day The Earth Stood Still. I am someone that does not want to like Keanu Reeves but some how end up seeing all his movies. I liked it alot. Good story line and a couple modern twists in there that brings this classic up to date.

but the big one was last night. We went to see Marley & Me. Great movie even if you don't have pets, but it touches the right spot of anyone who does. I don't want to spoil anything but I do haveyou warn that the movie takes a serious turn at the end.

Benjamin Buttons with Brad Pitt. Now, I would not consider myself a Brad Pitt fan but this movie was good. And I was surpised how well I liked his acting inBurn After Reading.

Seven Pounds. I do like Will Smith's movies and this one is very good.

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. What can I say?I loved this movie.

The last movie I saw was on New Year's Day. A friend told me I absolutely had to see Slumdog Millionaire. So I did. Of all the movies I saw in 2008 on the big screen (and that's about fifteen), the movie I saw on the first day of the year is by far the best. 99% of theschlock Hollywood turns out pales by far in comparison.
