Music: I listened to Vivaldi's 4 seasons today in different interpretations. I really liked an English guy's interpretation, called Nigel Kennedy, it was so soulful and heartfelt. I find it very uplifting and even inspiring to listen to classical music while I work. TV Shows: I have no TV and can't stand all that low-class vulgarity that outpours from TV these days. I used to watch Sex and the City though while living in New York City. Movies: The Road to Perdition; The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind; Kill Bill 2; Pulp Fiction; etc. In general I like slightly complex movies with a good story line and great acting. English adaptions of EM Forster's novels are awesome. I like a lot of English movies - they usually know what they are doing - you can't beat 400 years of Shakespeare, I guess. Books: Howard's End by EM Forster; Norvegian wood by Haruko Murakami; Crows over the wheatfield by Paula Sharp; Huckleberry Finn; That old ace in the hole by Annie Proulx; Possession by AS Byatt, just to name a few. But I am really moving on... I had today IM-ing with a younger guy from the other side of the world (West Coast). It was so uplifting, we had lots of laughs and exchanged such intimate information that I'd never share on a first date. He is into European women. It was pure fun. -
